Description: |
White and polled with broad and vigorous head. Short and very broad neck, muscular shoulders and good rib shape. Broad and well muscled back. Very good rump and leg muscling. Straigth and strong feets. Rather longbodied, powerful and well muscled ram.
Tan fibers on feets but not in the fleece. Wool quantity well above average. Thick thel but medium long thog and rather coarse.
Vodvi was progeny tested at Baer farm in Hrutafjordur in 2007 and 2008 resulting in good progeny dressing weight and carcass grading. In 2008 his progenies had an average dressing weight of 16,8 kg with 10,0 for carcass grading and 7,2 for leanness grading. Those results show that Vodvi carries on excellent meat qualities.
Vodvi’s daughters are very prolific with milking abilities little below average. |
